MapleLeaf Smile Dentistry operates five neighbourhood clinics across Hamilton, Mississauga and St. Catharines. Our team focuses on accessible, evidence-based dental care for families, seniors, new Canadians and patients enrolled in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).

Our mission

To deliver friendly, modern, evidence-based dentistry in every neighbourhood we serve — and to make essential dental care affordable through CDCP and direct insurance billing.

What guides us

Listening before treating, explaining options in plain language, and providing written estimates before any work begins. We follow the standards of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).

How we serve our communities

Beyond our fixed clinics, our mobile dental team brings preventive and basic restorative care to retirement residences, long-term care homes and community shelters.

Dr. Rawa

General Dentist

Since 1998, Dr. Rawa has specialized in implants and bone grafts, helping patients regain function and confidence. He enjoys pickleball and staying active.

Dr. Motaz

General Dentist

Since 2009, Dr. Motaz has focused on surgeries and root canals to relieve pain and boost patient confidence. He loves basketball, movies, and soccer.

Dr. Maha

General Dentist

With 10+ years of experience in extractions and fillings, Dr. Maha finds satisfaction in seeing patients comfortable and pain-free. She also speaks Urdu.

Dr. Thoma

General Dentist

Licensed in Canada in 2024, Dr. Thoma is passionate about providing quality, patient-centered care. He enjoys hiking and exploring new places.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Afsoon offers comprehensive care, including orthodontics and clear aligners.
